Stanley Polivick – General Manger
Originally from western Kentucky, Stan lived in the Sikeston, Missouri area, from 3rd grade through high school graduation. He attended college at Mississippi State University and graduated with a Civil Engineering degree in 1980. After college he moved to New Orleans, Louisiana where work experience began designing offshore oil drilling platforms. In 1984 Stan went to work for the City of Slidell, Louisiana as a construction inspector. Through promotions and departure of senior staff Stan became City Engineer for Slidell in 1986 and worked in that capacity until 1998. Work included oversight of all Public Works functions and coordination of capital projects for the City, and the associated budget management duties. In 1993 Stan moved to Henleyfield, Mississippi while still working in Slidell. In 1998 he began work as City Engineer for Picayune, MS (near his home) and then in late 1999 began work in Biloxi, Mississippi as City Engineer. In early 2000, Stan returned to work in Slidell, Louisiana and worked there until moving to Sikeston, Missouri in 2007, taking the position of General Manager at Great River, LLC. Interests include hunting, golf, woodworking, and gardening.

Carol Cohen - Secretary
Carol Cohen, the secretary for Great River, has been with the LLC since it’s incorporation in 2003. Carol has an Associates Degree in Psychology and brings her experience in dealing with farmers from her previous position as Administrative Assistant to a ministry for farmers, Rural Restoration, Adopt A Farm Family. She and her family, including her husband and two sons live in Sikeston, MO. The interests Carol spends her time at away from the office are tending to her vegetable garden and working at a battered women’s shelter. She also serves as a member of the Advisory Board for the shelter.
